A Land Of Lies

Synopsis

Max Cromwell, a philosopher haunted by loss, has spent his life searching for truth while running from pain. Two failed marriages have left him disillusioned and hollow, yet when he meets the brilliant and magnetic Alice Monroe, he dares to believe again. Their connection is born in the lecture halls of New York University and sharpened through fiery debates. It catapults them into fame as the faces of a televised philosophy series. Beneath the lights and applause, however, lies deception.

Alice, scarred by betrayal, entered Max’s world with a secret vow to make men suffer as she once had. What began as revenge turns into a love she cannot deny. By the time she realizes this truth, Max has uncovered her lies. Bound together by guilt, pride, and the glare of the cameras, both must face the question at the core of every philosophy. Can truth survive when love itself was born from a lie?

A Land of Lies is a psychological and emotional journey through betrayal, redemption, and the fragile beauty of forgiveness. It is a story where intellect meets desire, and the heart must decide what is real.
