ALTER EGO – Poems & Paints brings together Takezo Art’s poetry and original paintings in a journey through the many voices and perspectives that shape our inner world.
Through poems exploring love, memory, loss, faith, doubt, childhood, freedom, and the passage of time, the author gives voice to emotions and questions that often remain unspoken.
When words fall silent, the paintings take over. Through color, symbolism, irony, and illusion, they invite the viewer to look beyond the surface and discover new meanings.
Moving between poetry and visual art, ALTER EGO is an invitation to see the familiar from a different angle, listen to the voice within, and perhaps recognize something of ourselves along the way.
