Synopsis

In a near future world scarred by droughts, fires, and floods, one man dares to dream of reversing the planet’s decline.

Steven Hoppe, a brilliant yet broken engineer, has lost everything, his home, his job, his peace, but not his hope. Haunted by visions of a dying Earth, he builds a machine that can summon rain where none has fallen for centuries. When failure and fire destroy his creation, he descends into London’s underground, where an exiled Russian mathematician, Oleg Vlacinski, rekindles his purpose.

Together, they conceive a new system capable of reshaping the climate itself. Their work attracts the attention of Tariq bin Zaher, a visionary Emirati ambassador who brings Steven to the Rub’ al Khali desert, also known as the Empty Quarter. There, he is given the chance to make his dream real. Against all odds, clouds rise over the dunes, and rain falls where life had long surrendered.

But triumph brings new challenges, and Steven’s vision expands beyond the desert toward saving the entire planet.
