My Father

Synopsis

My Father The Story by Takezo Art and Susan Ogden Benting is a powerful tale of downfall, redemption, and divine grace. George Palmer, a man of reason and ambition, builds a seemingly perfect life in San Francisco. He has a stable career, a loving wife, and two children. Yet his hunger for wealth and recognition slowly consumes him. He loses his integrity, his family, and finally himself. Cast out from both career and home, George sinks into despair, wandering the streets as a broken man haunted by guilt and pride.

At the edge of ruin, a simple act of kindness, a shared meal, awakens his lost humanity. In a dream filled with blinding light, he meets God, who grants him three choices. George chooses wealth, then beauty, then fame, and each choice reveals a deeper emptiness. Only through total loss does he finally understand love, humility, and faith.

In a moving twist of grace, George awakens to a second chance. He is reunited with his family, forgiven, and reborn. My Father The Story is a modern parable about the cost of pride, the mercy of forgiveness, and the eternal embrace of a Father’s love.
